At the beginning of December 2008 we decided to convert the old aviary in to a Chicken House. The Original wire front to the aviary was replaced with varnished plywood, two nest boxes built and a wired off area was made for the "chicken run"
Two hens were supplied by our friend Wilf and within weeks the new hens were completly at home and laying two fantastic eggs a day! The hens have proved very easy to keep and are quite fun to watch ( and they talk to you !)
