In 2007 I obtained a special research permit from OFCOM to carry out experiments in the frequency range 501 - 504 Khz. Below are some pictures of the transmitter and variometer loading coil I have built.
I decided to built the transmitter with antique valves ! I enjoyed building the old valve Paraset I thought it would be nice to see a vintage 807 transmitting valve from the WW2 era producing RF again. The transmitter is capable of about 30 Watts RF output and works a treat .
